I dont really understand why you would do this?

One of the reasons it listed was something about restrictions on how long you have contacts in your eyes..

I and most everyone I know (and my doc even recommends it) wear disposable lenses that I leave in 24/7. I take them out over night once a week to clean, and get a new pair every 2-4 weeks.
