Has anyone had CK eye surgery to restore functional near vision?

I have seen advertisements for this and am curious...what does it cost? Recuperation time? Painful? Do you need reading glasses AT ALL after this surgery?
Clarification: From what I understand, this surgery is not LASIK. It's supposedly done with radio wave frequency. I know a lot about LASIK...this is something different entirely and relatively new here in Fresno, California. Anyone know anything about CK?

CK leads one to have functional near vision by creating 'Monovision'. Monovision is a method of presbyopic correction whereby the dominant eye is usually corrected for distance vision and the nondominant eye corrected for near. Please remember an important point. Presbyopes cannot have perfect distance vision as well as perfect near vision simultaneouly in the same eye.
