Today is going to be a really sad and emotional time for my family and I!
It's the 1st anniversary of my wonderful mum's death and to me it feels like my heart has been ripped out and smeared all over my face all over again.
I know i dont know any of you really lovely people and you'll all probably think im some kind of nut case, but i'd like to ask you all something.
Today hug your mum, dad, your brother etc and tell them just how much you love them and how much they mean to you, and dont ever take anybody or anything for granted, as it can so easily be taken away from you.
My last request is to raise a glass, or a mug of tea and help me toast the most important person i have ever had the privelage to have known and loved, and wish her all the happiness that she deserves!

You are possibly the most inteligent girl... kind and thoughtful too, that I've seen comment on here!!!!?
You have taken such a negative and horrible thing to have happened,(I lost my mum a short while ago, also), dealt with your demons, doubts and unhappiness, in a way that, from how you describe her, would make your Mum so proud that she has done such a fantastic job in raising such a caring, well adjusted daughter, and, from this 1 thoughtful piece you've made my day!! Honestly!!
The enthusiasm that you show for life, both in your kind wishes for others, and the fact that you are celebrating your mum;s life... not mourning her passing.. puts 99% of this site to shame..... Remember tho, hon, your mum will never die as long as you are around, along with the other people she will have 'touched', in her life!!
I will def. drink to your mum's memory, and mine!! As long as you promise one thing!!??? NEVER, EVER change!
