Is Gucci Handbags Bought From Macy's Authentic?

I am currently looking at a handbag on Craigslist from a local person in my town. This handbag was $535 bucks originally when she bought it from Macy's. She says its authentic but I want to make sure. Because she bought it two years ago she does'nt have a receipt but she had the price tags for it. It has a serial number but I dont know how to use those to make sure its real. Is it authentic? Is all Gucci Products from macy's real?

1. The double G logo
The stitch of an authentic Gucci bag’s double G logo is very neat; the weave of the two capital G can be clearly seen. The double G logo of a replica Gucci handbag looks more like capital letter C than G. Besides, the double G of an authentic Gucci is separated rather than stitching together.
The double G is perfectly done and every stitch is following a same direction. If turn a Gucci handbag slowly to light, and you will notice the logo’s color changes with the refraction of light, which won’t happen to a replica Gucci’s logo.

2. Workmanship
The authentic Gucci handbags are delicately made. The stitches on the edge are straight and clean, while the replicas may be poorly made and the stitches may be askew.
Check if the thread ends are cut clean, if the folds of the leather lining or cut line is even or not, a careful examination can leave a fake nowhere to hide.

3. Label
There is a small tag stitched on the interlining of authentic Gucci bags. On the outer side, it writes “Gucci—Made in Italy”, on the inner side writes the model number and batch number. Yet the letters on a replica Gucci bag’s tag/label can be blurred and no numbers are to be found.
The letter on authentic Gucci bags’ tag is very clear and the tag is delicately made. Yet the tag on poor quality replicas is poorly done and the letters aren’t easily recognized.

4. Fabric
